Philip Marshall is the author of Wainui Days, a warmly humorous account of growing up in Wainuiomata 1955-1970. He says it is his "best seller" to date. He has written two novels and five collections of short stories and describes his fiction as “dark-hued stories spiced with comedy”. A former editor by trade, he publishes under his own RiverStone Books imprint. Philip lives in Tawa and has spent over 10 years in Asia.
